UGC NET JRF Examination December, 2013 Notification | Apply Online

University Grant Commission (UGC) invites online applications for UGC NET JRF Exam to be held on 29th December, 2013 on various examination centres across the country for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant Professor. The Commission has issued a notification in this regard recently. As per the notification the candidates are required to apply online only.

Important dates:

Last date for Applying Online & generation of filled Bank Challan for Fee.
Wednesday; October 30, 2013
Last date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank Challan, at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI).
Saturday; November 02, 2013
Last date of taking printout of Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admit Card from UGC website (www.ugcnetonline.in)
Tuesday; November 05, 2013
Last date for receiving the printout of online Application Form (one copy) and Attendance Slip (one copy) at the respective Coordinating University opted by the candidate (with fee receipt & category certificate(s) )
Saturday; November 09, 2013

 Examination Fee:             
  • General Candidates: Rs.450/-
  • Other Backward Classes (Non-creamy layer, as per the Central list of OBC available on website www.ncbc.nic.in ): Rs.225/-
  • SC/ST/PWD candidates: Rs.110/-
Age Limit:
  • Junior Research Fellowship: Not more than 28 years as on 01.12.2013
  • Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit 
How to Apply: Candidate seeking admission to the Test (UGC-NET, December,2013) must apply online (i.e. www.ugcnetonline.in OR through a link available on the UGC website: www.ugc.ac.in)

Scheme of Examination: The Test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held on 29th December, 2013 (SUNDAY) in two separate sessions as under:

60 out of which 50 question to be attempted
1¼ Hours (09.30 A.M. to 10.45 A.M.)
50 questions all are compulsory
1¼ Hours (10.45 A.M. to 12.00 NOON)
75 questions all are compulsory
2½ Hours (01.30 P.M. to 4.00 P.M.)
