HTET 2015: Min. Education Qualification for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Lecturer Classes VIII-XII

Following minimum educational qualification needed to apply for Haryana Teacher eligibility Test 2015 (HTET 2015) for For becoming Lecturer for Classes VIII-XII: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT).

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

For becoming Teacher for Classes VIII-XII Post Graduate Teacher (PGT):

1. English, 2. Hindi, 3. Geography, 4. Sanskrit, 5. Home Science, 6. Sociology, 7. Physical Education, 8. Psychology, 9. Punjabi, 10. Urdu, 11. History, 12. Political Science:
  1. Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university and B.Ed. from recognized university; 
  2. (ii) Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the Subjects..
  3. (iii) Consistent good academic record 
13. PGT Biology:
  1. M.Sc. Zoology/Botany/Bio-Science/Bio-Chemistry/Genetics/MicroBiology/Plant Pathology/Bio-technology/Life Science/Molecular Bio with atleast 50% marks from a recognized university and B.Ed. from recognized university; 
  2. Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the Subjects.
  3. Consistent good academic record 
14. PGT Physics:
  1. M.Sc. Physics/Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics/Electronics Physics with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university; 
  2. Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the Subjects. 
  3. Consistent good academic record 
15. PGT Chemistry: 
  1. M.Sc. Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry with atleast 50% marks from a recognized university and B.Ed. from recognized university; 
  2. Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the Subjects. 
  3. Consistent good academic record. 
16. PGT Mathematics:
  1. M.A./M.Sc. Math/Applied Mathematics with Mathematics as one of the subject at Graduation level with atleast 50% marks from a recognized university and B.Ed. from recognized university; 
  2. Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the Subjects. 
  3. Consistent good academic record. 
17. PGT Commerce:
  1. M.Com. with accounting/Cost accounting/financial accounting as a major subject of study with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university. Holders of degree of M.Com. in applied/Business Economics shall not be eligible; 
  2. Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the subjects. 
  3. Consistent good academic record. 
18. PGT Economics:
  1. M.A. Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed. from recognized university; 
  2. Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the Subjects.
  3. Consistent good academic record. 
19. PGT Music:
  1. M.A. Music with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed from recognised university; 
  2. Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject. 
  3. Consistent good academic record. 
20. PGT Fine Arts:
  1. M.A. Fine Arts with atleast 50% marks and B.Ed from recognised university; 
  2. Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject. 
  3. Consistent good academic record 
21. PGT Computer Science:
  1. M.Sc. Computer Science (Regular two year course) / MCA (Regular three year course) / BE/B.Tech. Computer Science / Computer Engg. / IT (Regular course) with 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university; 
  2. Matric with Hindi / Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject. 
  3. Consistent good academic record
