Board of School Education Haryana (HSEB) is going to conduct most awaited Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2015 on 30 & 31 August , 2015. The examination board will conduct the said examination through online and offline mode.


Aadhar Card has become mandatory for HTET 2015 to avoid or interdict any type of impersonation. The Examination Board Official advised to HTET candidates or prospective teachers that they should keep Aadhar Number during the HTET 2015 Application or apply for new Aadhar Card to avoid any type of inconvenience.

HTET 2015 Online Application Schedule:
  • Online Registration, uploading of images and Downloading of e-Challan for fee payment through designated Banks: 15/06/2015 to 30/06/2015
  • Last Date for Receipt of Payment by Banks: 02/07/2015
  • Last Date (After Payment) for Final Submission: 02/07/2015
  • Schedule for Online Correction in particulars: 03/07/2015 to 05/07/2015

HTET 2015 Examination Schedule:

Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2015 conducted by Board of School Education Haryana in the August, 2015 on 30 & 31 August , 2015 . The education board is planning to conduct the upcoming Teacher Eligibility Test in offline and online mode.

How to Apply:

The eligible candidates who fulfill eligibility criteria can apply for Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2015 through mode only between 15th to 30th June, 2015 through website http://htet.nic.in. Click following direct link to apply online. However, online application process will be commenced from June 15.

HTET 2015 Eligibility (Who is eligible for HTET 2015?):

All individuals who posses minimum educational qualifications etc. as delineated in the service rules relating to the teachers of all the three levels (available on the website of the School Education Department, Haryana (www.schooleducationharyana.gov.in) and also in these guidelines are eligible to take the test (HTET) which will be conducted for the following three levels :-
  1. who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V (Primary Teacher) and fulfills the minimum qualification. 
  2. who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII (TGT – Trained Graduate Teacher) and fulfills the minimum qualification.
  3. who intends to be a PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) and fulfills the minimum qualification.

HTET 2015 Minimum Educational Qualification (Who is Educational Qualified for HTET 2015?):

Minimum Educational Qualification can be seen through following given links.

  2. Level-II: TGT (Master/Mistress) Class VI-VIII
  3. Level-III: PGT (Lecturer) Class IX-XII
HTET 2015 Syllabus, Scheme/Structure and Content (Test format & Standard):

There shell be only one paper in all Levels. All questions in all papers will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each carrying on marks with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. The examination will be conducted through both online and offline mode.The duration of HTET 2015 will be Two and a half (2 ½) hours for all levels.

HTET 2015 Qualifying Marks:

For all Categories except Scheduled Castes and Differently abled/ Physically Challenged
60% (90 Marks)
For Scheduled Castes and Differently abled/Physically Challenged
55% (83 Marks)
For Scheduled Castes and Differently abled/Physically Challenged of Other State
60% (90 Marks)

Note: There shall be no negative marking.

HTET 2015 Important Notes (for All Levels):
  1. Candidates studying in final year of the qualifying professional degree whichever is required for eligibility as per the rules are also eligible to apply for the test. Their candidature by the appointing authority, however, shall be considered only when they have acquired the minimum qualification.
  2. The condition of having qualified “Secondary/Matric” with Hindi/Sanskrit OR Sr. Secondary / Graduation / Post Graduation with Hindi as one of the Subjects will be applicable at the time of applying for the post of Teacher and not for appearing in the HTET.
